What’s the best way for me to donate?

Why should I become a member?
As a member, you are also invited to events we hold for our members, such as the the Annual Auction and Dinner. These events (and all of our programs) are great ways to make new friends who hold dear the values shared among Y constituents: social justice, spiritual reflection, environmental responsibility, and mentoring a new generation of leaders.

For only $20, a student can establish their membership, securing their position in the generations of YMCA Alumni.
How can I show how I'd like the YMCA to use my donation?
If you would like to give a large gift to a specific Program Fund, please contact Executive Director Mike Doyle at firstname.lastname@example.org. Donations received which are not specified are part of our Annual Fund, our critical operating budget that keeps our student programs, lectures, and events going year in and year out.
If you are passionate about a specific Y program, our building renovation, or a student group, you can specify that your donation should go to that cause simply by writing its name in the comment field of the check or online form. Our staff will steward your gift appropriately.
How and when will I receive acknowledgement of my gift or pledge?
Please allow up to two weeks for processing, especially during busy times such as major holidays and the end of the year. You will receive a thank you letter in the mail acknowledging your gift or pledge along with an automatic response from our online forms.
Whether you pay in person, by check, or online, you'll receive a thank you letter and an end of the year tax letter with your donations. Monthly Leader Club givers will not receive a letter after each installment but will instead receive a letter at the end of the year and a thank-you note when you enter the Club.
