The Heritage Circle is a critical part of building long-term financial stability for the University YMCA. The Endowment has received gifts for permanent investment since 1952. In 2016, the University YMCA Board of Trustees switched to a Socially-Responsible Investment Portfolio to better integrate our investments with our values. Strengthening this long-term support ensures the University YMCA can sustain its work.
You may also become a part of the Heritage Circle by including deferred gifts in your long-range plans. By doing this now, the possible tax advantages to you can increase the value of your estate, enabling you to do much more than you ever dreamed possible.

How to become a member:
Any one of these forms of a current or future planned (deferred) gift is all that is required:
- Make an outright gift of at least $5,000 in value of money, land, stock, insurance, copyrights, oil rights, letter stock, or an individual fractional interest to the University YMCA Endowment. The Development Office can work with you to create a pledge payment schedule.
- Make or revise a Will directing an eventual gift to the University YMCA Endowment through a percentage, fixed amount, or contingency statement.
- Name the University YMCA Endowment as a primary or secondary beneficiary of a new or existing insurance policy, 401(k), or other retirement plan.
- Create a Charitable Remainder Unitrust or an Annuity Trust, a Pooled Life Income, a Charitable Gift Annuity, a Short-Term Trust, a Life Estate or Bank Deposit that eventually directs all or a portion of the principal to the University YMCA Endowment.
