Zeina Ammar

Zeina Ammar (she/her) was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago to a family of immigrants but has called Urbana-Champaign home for the past few years! She is currently a senior studying Communication and Political Science with a concentration in Citizen Politics. Throughout her time at UIUC, Zeina has actively engaged as a student organizer, dedicated to uplifting the voices of students and community members in the CU area. She is a founding member and current Secretary of the Save the Children Action Network (SCAN). She also serves as the club's representative on the Y Student Board. In her free time, Zeina likes playing guitar, getting boba with friends, playing badminton, and bonding with her younger siblings!
