“I have participated in countless interfaith events at the Y and always come away with new insights. At a workshop, Interfaith in Action students, as well as local faith leaders, discussed what bridge building means to them as individuals from various backgrounds, and it was clear to me that there are very different motivations for bridge building, each with their own value in a healthy and connected community. The Y is a place where these differing approaches and motivations can safely interchange and interact. In our rapidly changing world, I believe in the importance of this kind of bridge building, and I’m grateful to have a space like the Y fostering a resilient community.”
