“I believe people should come together because of our differences. When I came to UIUC, I deliberately searched for an interfaith group and quickly found the Y due to their interfaith programming and student organizations. Since then, the Y has given me the resources and encouragement needed to make interfaith progress happen on campus and create a sense of community here. The Y has given me numerous opportunities to plan religious holiday events, dinner dialogues, student and clergy panels, service projects, trips, and conferences. The support from this community throughout these two years has been indispensable.”
