Linda Matkowski

Linda Matkowski is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Returning to Champaign for family reasons, she is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Champaign Unit 4 School District.  Previously, Linda held leadership roles at several investment banking companies including the Chief Operating Officer at a women-owned investment banking firm in St. Louis.  Previously Linda was the first female Executive Vice President for Fixed Income at an Indiana investment banking firm.  Linda has served on several non-profit boards in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and New York City.  Linda owes her amazing career and philanthropic experiences to her time at the University YMCA.  She started as the Program Director for the YMCA’s Youth Employment Services Program her Sophmore year at the U of I.  This led to her being the Student President of the University YMCA her Junior year, and ultimately to the Vice President of the National Student YMCA organization her Senior year.
